Dress your favorite Doctor!

Personally, I'm just disappointed that I don't have the wings and the halo in this program.
Not back from my hiatus, just popped online before bed and thought I'd give everybody a head's up!

Doctor Who is nominated for a bunch of Tubey awards. I don't care about 95% of them, but please vote Doctor Who as best returning show, Amy Pond as best sidekick, the Master as best villain, and (YAY!!) The Doctor/The TARDIS as best almost-romantic-but-not-quite relationship!

And for the love of Rassilon, vote for other people to make sure that Eve Myles and Catherine Tate don't "win" for Worst Actress. They're fabulous.
Because, dammit, there have been some awesome rants out there lately. You haven't read them? It's about time you did.

Check it out. Fantastic character interpretation and fandom reviews regarding:

Madame de Pompadour and "Girl in the Fireplace" by [livejournal.com profile] ambitious_woman: here.

EDIT: Ianto Jones and his relationship with fandom and Jack by [livejournal.com profile] hofficoffi: here.

So, since I want to be on this party wagon, I've decided to write up a little bit about the Tenth Doctor.

Episode rewatches do this to me.

It is a frequent debate in fandom (especially during the Tenth Doctor's era) as to what, exactly, the Doctor's sexuality is. He's displayed some tendency towards kissing women, but then there's the whole Master business. And Jack, I mean, really.

So what is it? A Gay Agenda? A Straight Agenda? Is the Doctor really asexual? Why is fandom split on this?

So, to simplify, I've created a handy dandy chart of the Tenth Doctor's episodes and any romantic tendencies therein by the Tenth Doctor.

A few years ago, there was a "curse" around [livejournal.com profile] theatrical_muse, that if your character got too emo, they would turn into a cat! I can't tell you how long I looked for a kitty that would be appropriate for the Doctor! I could've just gone here! A kitty maker.

I'd have come up with something like this:

The pinstripes! The sticky-uppy hair! The freckles! The claws that are not so cleverly concealed by his innocent expression and doe eyes.

While I work on some owed fiction, show me what your characters would look like!

Just a head's up: I, like my muse, like to wait until the very last minute to get anything done, so I will be cramming tonight for my math placement test tomorrow and can't let myself get distracted! I promise to be back with a vengeance tomorrow. <3<3

PS: It's been eight years since I've even taken a math course. How am I supposed to remember what the slope of the line is? And how does this have anything to do with economics?

PPS: I am, however, enjoying the number of variable equation problems I have to do for practice. I forgot how much fun they are!

PPS: If you got through this little blathering, please leave your character's name, and I'll write you the math equation that the Doctor believes most closely represents your character!
My interpretation of the meanings behind the 3-minute End of Time Clip. I've decided this requires a lot of deep, meaningful thought, so I've decided to do it line by line. Hope you enjoy.

Cut for spoilers to the CiN 3-minute 'End of Time' Clip!. )
