Human.

Human and he didn't quite know what to do.

Human and the stupid fob watch was missing.

Human and he had been up far too late looking for the fob watch to bring her back.

Human and...well, at least she was nicer when she was human. He could imagine Illyria slapping him around the console room when he didn't get her the fob watch right away.

He sighed, and laid his head on the console. What were they going to do?

It was nice. Very nice. Not that she had any other kissers to compare him to, but for her part, Illyria was certainly enjoying this one (though she wondered, idly, if she ought to go around kissing all the men she knew just in case she never got to kiss anyone again. She'd dare to say most of them would enjoy it.)

She let her fingers reach up to toy with his hair, lightly. Timelords apparently had very messy hair. It was quite charming, and she hoped the other her at least found the Doctor aesthetically pleasing so she'd remember important details like the feel of her hands in his hair.

The hand that did not hold her close went up to cup her cheek. She was soft, though he always knew she was, despite the coldness of her goddess-self. She was very like him.

As he closed his eyes and deepened the kiss---falling ever further into that abyss which he might not be able to claw himself out---he could believe that Illyria as she was was kissing him. Though the human her was...it was still her.

She didn't even know who she was. She couldn't know, not completely. All she had were vague impulses and flashes of memory, and the words of people who danced around topics for fear of saying something the other her wouldn't appreciate, or that they thought the current her didn't need to know.

It hurt, more than a little, that apparently the other her was so cruel and dispassionate that people were so wary. That something as simple as a kiss might cost the Doctor her wrath later. That he cared for her and she apparently couldn't even find it in her to care in return when she was her normal self.

"It isn't fair," she murmured when their lips parted briefly, because it wasn't, and she didn't know what to do about that.

"Nope," the Doctor replied easily, catching her mouth again.

He wasn't uncontrollable. He'd never been uncontrollable sexually in his life. He was, however, quite enamoured, and that made the idea of pulling away because of something so silly as her turning back seem positively ridiculous.

"Mm..." she smiled into his kiss, amused by how unswayed he was by her slight protest.

"But what if," she spoke in between kisses, which likely undermined her point a great deal, "I'm angry at you later?"

That's likely to be a problem, isn't it?

"Illyria."

He spoke her name softly, but firmly. The words were more worshipful than anything he'd ever said to her in the entire time they'd known each other.

His mouth trailed from hers to her neck, tracing kisses along sensitive flesh.

The noise his kisses when paired with that tone of voice elicited from her was not quite a whimper, as goddesses (even amnesiac ones) do not do that. It was, however, something like a faint trill of pleasure, and very definitely the extent of the rest of her argument.

She was so going to be annoyed with her human self, later.

Oh, he wasn't a sexual person, and they didn't have a sexual relationship, but he desired her. He desired her completely, and that was bad. That was them crossing boundries and he'd crossed boundries in human form himself and he knew what that was like---

He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close, sliding his hands down her back, memorizing the feel of her against him.

Bad. Very bad.

Almost definitely bad, and very definitely something she was going to have to be careful not to let anyone ever find out about, later.

She didn't even truly know who this man was, this Doctor, not beyond little flashes of memory here and there. It was enough. She trusted him; the Goddess never would've surrounded herself with people she could not trust. She was certain of that.

She slid her fingers through his hair one last time then dropped her arms to lace loosely around his neck, noting idly that he wasn't as warm as one ought to be this close (and not quite recalling that under normal circumstances, she wouldn't be, either.)

"I think," she whispered near his ear, "that this is where the other me would order you to stop teasing so."

He pulled back, but only a little, before kissing her on the mouth once again.

"You don't remember this part about me," he murmured against her lips, "But I'm not one to tease."
