The Doctor as a Doctor. Who would have guessed *smiles softly and laughs* Then you would be Dr. Doctor.

Well, it would be a bit confusing, then, wouldn't it? Perhaps I should switch it to "Vote Dr. Smith", but then they may confuse me with another Smith, and then there would be Smith wars, and I'm not even a Smith!

I don't know, it's catchy, like the song.

Besides if you did use Smith I, for one, would know Roger would get a little confused.

OOC

OOC: Sorry for the interruption. :) Gabe was wondering, if she persuades me to set up an rp board, after I've finished a most incredible amount of catch up for tm, would ye like to come and join her for some tea? I'm not exactly sure of the location, but the finer details can be worked out sometime in the future, wherever that may be.

Re: OOC

No interruption, that sounds fantastic. Mayhaps an invite through the psychic paper to some location? Drop me an email at naughtygirlslikepolka AT gmail DOT com some time, we'll work it out! *boogie*

If I may be s bold as to ask, just what are you a doctor of? What specialty do you practice and at which hospital do you hold privileges?

From: [identity profile] rude-not-ginger.livejournal.com

Oh, you can be as bold as you'd like. Ask away.

*broad grin*

OOC: Not a problem! Hell, I figure if the Doctor can deal with Dr. Shepherd, he can deal with anybody (and that thread was HELLA fun).

From: [identity profile] dr-hair.livejournal.com

That is a very annoying manner in which you deal with direct questions.

*sighs*

All right then, once more for you: what are you a doctor of, precisely? Which hospital(s) do you have privileges do you have to practice medicine? And where did you go to medical school?

From: [identity profile] rude-not-ginger.livejournal.com

I deal with direct questions, I deal with them all the time! I simply know which questions I prefer to answer, and those which I would rather...not.

*headscratch*

Just the DOctor, really. More an honorary title than anything, though I've a bit of experience in the field. I don't work at a hospital, I travel. You wouldn't have heard of it.

From: [identity profile] dr-hair.livejournal.com

I...see.

I stick to my original assumption then, the people making these nominations are about as mentally sound as some Rat Activists I once came across.

Why would anyone prefer a quack over a real M.D.?

From: [identity profile] rude-not-ginger.livejournal.com

A quack? A quack?! I'll have you know, sir, I studied under some of the finest minds of your generation, and some from many genearations before and since you!

From: [identity profile] rude-not-ginger.livejournal.com

No, no it hasn't.

*pause*

And you, doctor? I assume, of course, by your questioning that you have a bit of medical history yourself?

From: [identity profile] dr-hair.livejournal.com

I would assume everyone with adequate health care available to them has a medical history or one sort or another. If you are inquiring as to what sort of medicine I practice, I'm a surgeon. Specializing in trauma casualties which means that I work with a broader base of knowledge than most in my field.

There seems to be no end in sight to the ways people find to mangle themselves and each other. I do my best to repair that damage when possible.

From: [identity profile] rude-not-ginger.livejournal.com

Well, I assume you're probably right. There's a medical file somewhere on this planet for me, too, I'm sure.

Trauma surgeon? Oh, brilliant. Been a long time since I've met a specialized surgeon---well, besides that fellow from neurology, but his ego was a bit too overinflated; bit like talking to a completely different person when you talked 'bout his job.

Re: Award

Don't know yet, it's a few weeks off for the "award show". When they do post 'em, I'll let you know!
