He'll sit there, in the TARDIS, staring at himself in the mirror. The big hair, the crooked tie, the spattering of freckles across his face. It's a face he's come to know, come to love. It's a face he won't have for much longer.
SOON HE WILL LOSE HIMSELF TO THAT GUY FROM BLACKPOOL!
...
AGAIN!

I imagine the Doctor would make him do all sorts of chores. Like a new Mickey.

Did you ever listen to the commentary about Mickey in Girl In The Fireplace? RTD and DT basically said that Mickey doesn't get a room, he gets a spot on the floor, that's why he has the same outfit, while Rose changed clothes and got her hair done.

....awww, no! Poor Mickey. Sucks to be the Tin Dog.

That would be like saying Farrah does such things as hand out links to download DW audios for free.

Though that revelation makes me sad and want to give him a hug and cuddles.

Hee! Now I can't get the image of Handy holding down the button an hour later, when he could have let it go 59 minutes ago.

And the fact that he meets Eleven, and Eleven is still alone, too. The fact that he knows even if he meets a new companion, it's not going to last. The inevitability of it.
I secretly (I'm very secretive, aren't I?) am a big fan of those little clues to his change. I love him dearly, but one of my favorite bits this series was in Planet of the Ood, the "every song must come to an end" piece.
*shakes fist* Damn you, Ripley!
(I'm very torn about what I want for Ten at times. I really do want him to have some kind of happy ending, at least once. But also, I think I'm a sucker for angst. British sci-fi is as good a medium as any to get out all that emotional crap. My feelings for Ten I suppose lean towards the manic. I guess the character lends himself to that a bit.)

Also, ILU.

So the happy moment in Who are like that a bit. The calm before the storm. Which makes the heartbreak and angst and doom even harder for Ten the character and us the viewer.
So Ten, complete and total barrel of fun and laughs. He's like a litter of kittens.
And ILU2.
I'm also getting very rambly on this topic, so big apologies for the ramble. I go out for a 1/2 hour, and this thread is waiting for me!

I am looking forward to tragedy too, because I'm horrible like that. Also, to be honest, I'm ready for a new Doctor.
It helps that I have awesome Tens to read and play with and so I WILL NOT ACTUALLY LOSE HIM REALLY.
