OOC: Recommendation Post & Other Stuff

Hey, sorry for all of the slow threads and missed tags, I've just started my new job and it's drained me. But! I have a three day weekend and I'll be catching up as much as I can.

Rather than three things and a lizard, I actually have two things and a reccomendation post.

1) I've overhauled the tracking community for myself and ambitious_woman and I'm working on listing all of the threads her and I have done for our various universes over the last few years. If you enjoy alt!Ten's 'verse, check it out: marked_by_you. *squishy love to Reinette!mun, without whom alt!Ten would never have existed*

2) I was working on a prompt yesterday and once completed I realized I had done the exact same thing mid last year. After nearly two years of writing the Doctor, I'm worried I'm repeating myself. So! Here's the question: What have I not done in ficlets that you'd like to see? Is there a pairing you want? A series I've let slide you want finished? An event the Doctor should go to? ...What. She keeps flirting with her past selves. Plus, recreational mathematics.

Um, hmm. Crossovers are always fun to shake things up. Clearly, Ten needs to meet Marion-from-Indiana Jones, and Impulse from either the comics or Smallville (he could get into trouble before Ten could even spit out the 'd' of 'Don't run off'!). Um. Sarah Jane Adventures crossovers. The Naked Mole Rap! And Ten does not really say enough on the subjects of hats OR scarves. Naked mole rat aliens!

Ooh, and the girl!TARDIS is pretty awesome. Maybe she could meet some of the previous companions? Um. Karaoke?

Crossovers are always enjoyable! Maybe something with Babylon 5, the Doctor visiting the station would certainly be a fun read. Or.. I don't know, this is me being random, but him meeting Doctor Cox from Scrubs? That would be absolutely hilarious, especially if JD were witnessing it and having his a-typical inner-commentary going on.

It would also be great to see more pieces about his other companions, like with Adric and Ace and others. Can't really think of many specifics since my brain is flat-lining again.

Just so you know, I don't feel like I read enough prompts during the week to be able to rec stuff, but I love having it on my flist because it introduces me to such great writers!!

Past companions are always great to read about, whether the Doctor is meeting them as his Tenth incarnation or not.

And I second - third? - the idea that crossovers are always fun.
