As I've said, my new flatmate is
best_served_hot. Sometimes we have...conversations. They happen on a ridiculously regular basis.
Me: (complaining about someone making me frustrated in RP)
Her: Can the Master kill her?
Me: No.
Her: Can the Master---
Me: No.
Her: He'll put her back together...maybe!
I also play Minecraft on a fairly regular basis. I like to play games with the NPC villagers. That involve TNT. Mostly because their superior building technology annoys me. I also play this Doctor as the Valeyard with
best_served_hot in an AU. Flatmate and I have full conversations about what they are thinking during these expeditions.
Me: I should really put some lava there.
Her: That one villager is getting away.
Me: It thinks it's getting away.
Her: If you put water there, you'll drown it.
Me: Or embed it in cobblestone.
Her: Ooooh.
Me: You know what would be better?
Her: Making one of the zombies burn up in the sunlight and having that set off the TNT you've put all over the villagers' houses?
Me: ...yes.

The Doctor wanted to pretend that he couldn't feel Alan's pain. There must've been nothing worth than waking up with the love of his life wrapped around him, dead. He wished he could've made it up to him somehow. Any way he could. But there was no way to undo the past.
He'd wanted to think that seeing Alan again, after Sarah's---after everything that had happened, would somehow make something right. He had an awful feeling it didn't.
"Live," the Doctor replied without hesitation. "Because that's what Sarah would've wanted us to do."

I have a friend who is very ill in the hospital and I shan't be around to play tonight.
I apologize.
( To make up for it, have a look at the real identity of the mysterious 'Impossible Astronaut'. )

He was quite pleased with the Master's development. He'd learned how to behave, for the most part. Oh, he was hardly the most agreeable of companions, but he wouldn't want the Master to be agreeable. He wanted him to be the Master. He wanted him to be there, part of his world.
Over the week that followed, the quiet drumming in his mind that insisted that the Master had to live at all costs had quieted, the part of him that was the Doctor apparently sated with the Master's presence. The Valeyard was pleased with it, too. He remembered why he was so fond of his old enemy. He posed a challenge.
He was challenged with frustration and irritation and glorious success. Things were going better than planned, and now with the traitor out of the way, he'd be able to do so much more.
The week went by wonderfully. He felt the first tremor of exhaustion run through him and he believed that he might sleep well for the first time since the Master came back into his life.

To my future self,
This is why we can't have nice things or even remotely sane relationships.

Recently, I have acquired a new roommate,
best_served_hot. While our living arrangements are unusual due to our muses, it is certainly fun. And we've been playing a lot of chess.
