There's a roar, and the tentacle around his leg releases suddenly. The creature surfaces, something huge and many-legged, and then dives down, frightened and injured. The Doctor is propelled forward, and he uses it to dash out of the liquid.
The moment he's free of it, he turns to Morgana and, without warning or worry of propriety, hugs her.
