He really did have a thought in his mind, but Jack had to go off and wet his bottom lip like that and it was really, really distracting. He did have an entire speech in his head about taking proper experiments and relating it back to the many, many things he thought might be experimental in this room, but all those thoughts were gone now, and he was left completely without his favorite defense mechanism: his voice.
"Sorry," he said, tearing his eyes away from Jack's mouth. "Sorry, what were we talking about?"
