Wow. Now, the Doctor had been seduced by a number of people in his time. Cleopatra, Madame du Pompadour, Casanova, but really? None of them had manage to bring science into the seduction. If the Doctor could really think beyond what Jack had said, he might go so far as to compliment him for his absolutely spectacular speech there, but he couldn't think beyond where he was at that moment.
"Experiment, eh?" he asked, after clearing his throat. If there was one thing Jack Harkness knew how to do, it was how to get under the Doctor's skin. "What sort of experiments, exactly? Because that's what this is, isn't it? Because, really, if we're going to be technical on experiments, we should really admit that you want to either be the variable or the control in this one."
As he spoke, he took a step towards Jack. He couldn't help it.
