There was no question in her mind that the Doctor himself must've built a robot or two in his time--he did have that sonic screwdriver, after all. Even he must get bored every now and then. Lord knows she did on occasion.

Surely, it can't have been there for the Boxing Day sales. "What if the alien was here for a similar reason you are? To discover what Christmas is all about? Only, it landed here in the middle of a busy shop and was scared out of its mind?"
