The Doctor had taken a stop off at Cardiff. Why was anybody's guess--refueling of the TARDIS, just because the Rift was there and things always had the chance of getting out of hand, or maybe just because.
For now, he was going with 'just because'. He could use a pint. And just by coincidence, he stumbled upon a nice little placed called the Barling Brandos Bar. Good a place as any.
Nothing seemed very out of place about it, and he blended in rather well. He headed up to the bar and rapped once on the surface to gain the bartender's attention, ordering himself a drink. And then not far down, he spied a familiar face.
