He's Fire And Ice And Rage

I really, really liked the prose work here, especially that last line. I also liked the idea of how his hearts beat off-tempo from one another. I think you've done a really good job here explaining how the Doctor can love so much and yet move on so efficiently after each companion and heartsbreak and disaster. It's a very though-provoking piece, no matter how you look at it or what canon you happen to follow.
