From one waltz to another, the melody was all that she could hear. The sounds of others dancing were lost to her.
"Thank you," her tone was much softer than before, gazing up at him, "For this." She had never realized just how much she had changed since she had first left him to travel through E-Space. To dance like this, away from it all and with him alone to trust... it felt like a lifetime ago.
