Well, the Doctor hadn't exactly intended on this, but it worked, he supposed. Slightly awkwardly, he put his arms around her, trying his best to be comforting. Wasn't that often that a beautiful (probably) woman had her arms around him and her head on his chest. He'd only just gotten used to Rose doing that!
