Thirdly,

Milliways is so biiiig though. In a v. scary way.

And I am teh scribbles!

[identity profile] eleventh-doctor.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
But. But. It's not scary, truly! I could hold your hand, and help you through it. Because Milliways is the good crack, and people are niiiiiiice. And Luke needs his canonmates! He is about to go through The Lost Boy!

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
Wellll okay if you hold my hand. And also because Clyde needs to save Luke. Obviously, everyone else would fail at Luke!Saving without Clyde.

[identity profile] eleventh-doctor.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Honestly, everyone would all just flounder and flop without Clyde around to keep an eye on Luke, and Explain the World to him.

GLEEEEEEE!

Clyde agrees emphatically with that statement. Though he probably doesn't know what 'emphatically' means.

[identity profile] eleventh-doctor.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Luke sez: Emphatic, adjective 1. uttered, or to be uttered, with emphasis; strongly expressive.
2. using emphasis in speech or action.
3. forceful; insistent: a big, emphatic man; I must be emphatic about this particular.
4. very impressive or significant; strongly marked; striking: the emphatic beauty of sunset.
5. clearly or boldly outlined: It stands, like a great, stone dagger, emphatic against the sky.
6. Grammar. of or pertaining to a form used to add emphasis, esp., in English, stressed auxiliary do in affirmative statements, as in He did call you or I do like it.
7. Phonetics. having a secondary velar articulation, as certain dental consonants in Arabic. '

P.S. I once made a small bunch of Clyde icons which I could dig up for you if you want to have a look?

[identity profile] clydannica.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Clyde sez, ...No, Luke. You don't like a dictionary when someone doesn't know a word.

P.S. I would love that! SJA icons are painfully hard to find.

[identity profile] born-running.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
Luke sez, But you didn't know what it meant. That's what dictionaries are for, isn't it?

P.S. Shall be posting Luke's journal once I round 'em up! :D

[identity profile] born-running.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
http://born-running.livejournal.com/5638.html!

[identity profile] clydannica.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Clyde sez, Yeah, and you aren't one. No one likes a walking dictionary.

AND YAY THANK YOU.

[identity profile] born-running.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Luke sez, But I've read the dictionary. I remember everything in it. Does that make me a walking dictionary?

YOU'RE QUITE WELCOME.

(Also, you may have just rekindled my desire to write a Luke fic in the style of an Encyclopedia Brown story.)

[identity profile] clydannica.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
Clyde sez, Only if you go around saying things like that!

(Do it. Oh, do it!)

[identity profile] bitunlikely.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Pleeeeeeeeeeease.

I swear Milliways isn't that big - it only looks it because it's been around for 4+ years. Lotsa characters are gone now and it's superb and we even have an Alan Jackson now!

And if you have ANY questions, my aim is Enelya Sol. I have dragged many a person into Milliways in the past (have been there for 3+ years now) and have no problem answering.

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE.

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
ALAN JACKSON, REALLY? ...yes, I may sort of love SJA like burning, why do you ask.

So you have a long history of pressuring people. That worries me.

Weelll maybe. I should possibly wait for the new series to start.

[identity profile] bitunlikely.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
YES. And we have a Maria and we've juts been missing Clyde forever. My SJ is old school (AU now cause she may have went off and married Bond and had a kid) but she still interacts with all the SJA pups and is available for OOMs in the SJA verse.

And you shouldn't be worried. I'm innocent, no matter what Joann might claim. But Clyde and Jenny ought to meet. It would be amusing!

Also: Apps open up again in October. CLEARLY this is a good time to app him, eh?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
*raises hand* First question! What's an "OOMs"?

Yessssssss okay fine. I shall. But I will also spend many long hours trying to fully comprehend Milliways first.

[identity profile] born-running.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
We will help you with that!

Starting with OOMs, standing for Out Of Milliways. They're just rps or events that take place out of the bar proper, and then are linked to the comm for the edification of all.

[identity profile] bitunlikely.livejournal.com 2008-09-21 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
out of milliways. it is an rp that takes place out of the main bar. like this (http://jen-anomaly.livejournal.com/7930.html)!

And it seriously doesn't take many long hours. At all. It's very, very simple and very, very fun!

And you have two very willing to help muns here!
