"You're asking me that?" A small, incredulous smirk crept onto her face, and she shook her head. "A bit funny, the Doctor was on the look for a distress." And told her he wouldn't be long, just a look-see, be back in two tics--three, if he wasn't lucky--and had stayed waiting for far longer than that. But not so long that she got bored and wandered. Yet. Why he wouldn't let her come along on his little not-as-quick-as-he-thought search, she couldn't begin to guess, but sometimes there was just no arguing with him.
