It was good. Jack deserved to feel special. Not just because he was the only fixed point in the universe, but because, to the Doctor, he meant so very, very much. The Doctor never allowed himself to fall in love, and he never allowed himself to get pulled in, but with Jack he willingly did both. And he'd do it again, in a heartbeat.

Pleasure shot up the Doctor's spine at Jack's touch, and he didn't bother to hide how incredibly good it felt. He moaned in the physical world and let Jack share in the pleasure in the mental one.

He grazed his fingernails across Jack's wrist, focusing on how it felt within his mind.
